Project description
It is the winning proposal in the international urban design competition for renovating and developing a complicated area with large brownfields near the historical city centre. An essential part of the work was to find an urban solution emphasising sustainable development, the landscape, blue-green infrastructure, traffic solutions, and the strategy for future phased development. The design also included citywide pedestrian and cycling paths linking the city centre and the river Svitava to the developed area.
