GJF installation of exhibition Punk in Czech architecture

Author:

Realization:

Project description

The installation as a simplified colour symbolism of a style – black is implemented with technicolour domineered by pink. There is a reminiscence to a pinacotheca in the anteroom and a spatial collage in the main hall. Not punk, but a Punk trademark because – well, what exactly is punk? Nonconformity? Defiance? Return to roots? Provocation? In architecture?
It is not about the definition of a style. The exhibited built and other projects together with accompanying texts are “only” an impulse to further contemplating over the inexhaustible theme who, when, how, where, and why – this time seen through an etalon of anything one can imagine under the term punk.
